MFR – Self massage techniques & Hypervolt

Participants will be taught techniques to improve
Muscular relaxation
Joint range of motion
Blood circulation

Equip yourself with self-massage techniques to manage stiff joints and muscle tightness. Have a try at the Hypervolt massage gun and understand how this tool can aid in facilitating recovery of the muscles.

MFR – Vyper fitness roller

Participants will be taught techniques to improve

Rigid taping techniques to stabilise joints
Kinesiology taping techniques to facilitate functional range of motion

Learn the difference between rigid and kinesiology taping to know which tape to use under different circumstances. Practise common taping applications which most recreational sports individuals can benefit from.

A Sweet Life – managing diabetes is as easy as ABC

Participants will be taught

Estimation of food servings
Healthier food choices

Participants will be taught

Benefits of physical activity for cancer patients
Exercise guidelines for cancer patients

Participants will have an overview of cancer and how physical activity can help to manage cancer. They will also understand the considerations to take while applying exercise guidelines in pre-treatment, during and post-treatment of cancer.

Yoga MFR (Myofascial Release) classes brings participants through a therapeutic experience. Combine Yoga with myofascial release tools to achieve relaxation of the muscles and mind.

Basic soft tissue injury management

Participants will be taught
Injury management protocol
Using kinesiology taping to manage swelling (Rock Tape)
Using flossing bands to manage swelling and targeted muscle treatment (Rock Floss)

Be confident in managing to soft tissue injuries when it happens. This workshop will cover the initial management of injuries such as sprains and strains.
